The school had very enjoyable day on Friday February 17th as we celebrated International Day. Children who have connections to other countries around the world worked on projects over four weeks. Then they displayed their projects in the Big Hall, some children dressed up in their national costumes or sports jerseys, and all of the classes came to see and hear about life in other parts of the world. Lots of parents came to visit and help their children with their presentations. Well done to all the children, parents and teachers for making the day so enjoyable and informative.
Of course the Student Council took its job very seriously and had a difficult task of judging the projects. Each child got an Irish flag and some children got a lucky dip prize for outstanding presentations.
